"hup! is an absolute game changer”

Laura Jane Clark

Leading architect & star of BBC’s Your Home Made Perfect

“People often ask how they can add an extension or rebuild their unusable conservatory in the most efficient way possible – hup! is definitely the answer. Basework is usually the biggest minefield and the biggest headache for homeowners, so having something where you can use the existing base, and don’t need to start digging down and just build, getting watertight in two or three days, it’s an absolute game changer.”

Any questions?

Why is hup! a better option than a traditional conservatory or extension?

hup! is much simpler and five times faster to construct than traditional building methods. The system’s pre-fabricated components and rapid connections mean that no cutting is required on site, and 10m² of wall can be built in minutes. hup! can also be built in any weather, and there is no site waste to dispose of thanks to the system’s made-to-measure parts.

How will hup! benefit my business?

hup! allows you to benefit from simpler project management with fewer trades, and is five times faster to build than traditional methods, meaning you can fit more jobs into the same amount of time. All parts are 100% pre-fabricated, meaning no cutting is required on site and you don’t have to source bricks or other materials from elsewhere. hup! is designed to be fitted by one team, with comprehensive fitting team training available at our Worcester trade centre, along with our design, specification, quoting and ordering service.

Is hup! compliant with Building Regulations?

hup! has been approved by Assent, MFA and Stroma, making Building Regulation compliance far simpler. Ultraframe has agreed specific procedures and prices for different types of hup! projects with these companies, ensuring you have price reassurance and consistency. This makes carrying out your Building Regulation approvals with one of these companies a simple alternative to working with a Local Authority.

Is hup! energy efficient?

hup! is five times more energy efficient than the average UK home. The system’s components are compliant with Part L June 2022 of the Building Regulations, with solid roof U-values less than 0.15 W/m²K for England and 0.13 W/m²K in Scotland. hup!’s walls have a U-value of 0.17 W/m²K, exceeding Building Regulations and making them considerably more thermally efficient than brick and mortar.
